I'm Steve Frailey and I was trained initially by Armstrong then spent 17 years with Tarkett, many as National Sales Manager Commercial Products. I have spent over 25 years specializing in commercial resilient flooring. I have specified and been responsible for millions of square yards of flooring, for health care, sports and recreation, and education spaces. My international contacts introduced me to flooring products with advanced technologies that are superior to flooring products sold in the USA. Along with my vendor Architectural floor systems: WE GET IT! We understand the needs of commercial users.
We source products that dominate flooring categories world wide, and import, stock best sellers, and distribute these products through our strong representatives and sales agents throughout the USA. (45 reps and 2 distribution points) |

Independent studies validate the importance of products with technology allowing for far lower total cost than the strip and wax philosophy that has been used in the United States. We work with manufacturers that use a baked in (wax)polyurethane in the manufacturing process that is then u/v cured for stability and longevity. We have created a package of products that we call the FIRST CHOICE Collection, that features this techology we simply call: NO WAX FOR LIFE! We call it FIRST CHOICE since the materials will carry a total cost of less than 1/2 of the normal USA type flooring, yet material price will be similar to these products with outdated technology. This technology also allows for end users to easily trade up to better qualities and higher image flooring thanks to their lower total cost that will have payback vs. wax and strip products.
We intend to educate specifiers and end users on this new technology and clearly show competitive advantages that make standard wax and strip products out of date. This along with the added potential for LEED credits with these products and our envirofloor (rubber) products give us a great package of products that all domestic manufacturers envy.
